Have you ever noticed that people take enormous pride on their pet? Have you ever wondered why? I actually use to think that they are just being snob because what their pets are capable of is not heir gift but its rather pet’s ability. I could not farther from truth. Recently I learned about the amount of care and grooming that goes into making an animal a perfect pet.
Here are some of the examples. Dogs for example are loyal, it’s their trait but eliminating at the right place and not barking too much or obeying command of their master are not the traits that it have but rather they are learned. Dogs have to immunized and vaccinated too. Rabbits for example look cute to everyone but only the owner knows that it entails lot of hard work. Protecting it from predators which may include neighborhood dogs and cats is tricky and so is making arrangements to save it from elements of nature. Guinea pigs newborns for example have to be protected from their cage also else they get themselves stuck in the bars of cage and get strangulated. Proper care has to be of their dietary needs so that they grow healthy and continuous monitoring of their body weights. Cats have to be declawed and if you don’t want your cat to be declawed then you certainly have to make sure that your furniture is not the place where cat leave scratch marks. Cats are generally provided with scratch boards for the same purpose.
To think that your neighbor took so much pain to groom his dog does sound surprising is not it? But ever ask your neighbor why take so much pain and I can bet that the prompt reply would be that it’s worth more than that.
