Cat care includes the declawing process and how to get it right without hurting the cat .In some cases owners who prefer that their cats are not declawed, it means making arrangements for a scratch board or to use their tendency to scratch in a creative manner otherwise it would mean torn sofas or scratched surfaces.

Apart from the nails teeth is also another area where utmost care has to be taken. Cats like humans should have clean teeth and healthy gums or they start loosing teeth and their gums start bleeding. How to take care of cat’s teeth? For this you must have the following four things:

1. Cat toothbrush

2. Cat toothpaste

3. Scissor

4. Sterile gauze.

The process begins by checking whether cat requires dental care or not. This can be done by checking that whether teeth are getting yellow or not? Then gums should be checked. They should not be bleeding nor should be dark pink. The gums should be sweet pink in color. Going further downwards their throats should also be checked if they are red.

If the gum are not sweet pink in color or if teeth are yellow or if throat is red it means cat need to brush. You can start by holding the cat from the back side and see their back teeth first and then move on to front teeth. I the pet is fussy about it don’t force her and leave it to another day, another time but make sure cat gets the treatment. They should be brushed on an average once every month but of course this will vary depending on every cat. This might seem like tedious but if your cat and you have a bond it would be a cakewalk and would hardly take any time and who knows you might even start to like it.
